affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, (HFHI).
HFHI is an organization that provides affordable housing
worldwide.

ReStore outlet store is now open
Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. It
is located at 919 Grove St. in Defiance
and is open to the public.
We
currently have a lot of holiday
decorations including a variety of
bulbs, Christmas trees, tree toppers and
other holiday decorations. Stop by and

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization
that provides housing for low-income families with a
need for decent housing. Habitat is here to help fight
the war against poverty.
Volunteers and partner families are the ones who put
all the time into building the homes. Individuals, area
churches, and corporate donors provide money and
materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families as
well as their family and friends invest hundreds of
hours of labor called sweat equity, into building their
homes and other Habitat homes. The money that the
homeowners pay each month goes into a revolving fund to
build more Habitat houses.

SIGN-UP
Construction
is underway on our thirteenth house. We
will be working Saturdays until the
house is completed. "Thanks again
to our faithful crew of workers. We
didn't work outside but put drywall on
the ceiling. We got quite a bit done! We
always appreciate the great lunches that
are provided too! We hope to have the
wiring inspected this week, so depending
on the weather we may try to finish the
siding or work on insulation and dry
wall this week."
